Two New Live Online Japanese Black Ink Painting Workshop Dates for July 2025

 
Two new dates have been scheduled for our live online Half-Day Introductory Workshops this July. In these Workshops, participants will be introduced to the Art of Black Ink Painting and will learn about materials, basic brushstrokes and techniques used for painting grasses, flowers, trees and mountains.

Sumi-e is the Japanese word for the Art of Black Ink Painting. It is a unique art form using only black ink, handmade paper and a special brush.

Dates/Booking: 

Book Tuesday 8th July Workshop or

Book Wednesday 16th July Workshop

Time: 10am - 1pm

Details:

• Includes list of recommended basic beginner’s art materials.
• Suitable for Beginners or as a review/refresher for those who have previously attended.
• These Workshops consist of four 40-minute segments with a 5-minute break between each segment.
• The Workshop session invitations will be emailed to participants one hour prior to the Workshops.
