New May 2026 In-Person and Online Workshops dates

Two new Japanese Black Ink Painting Workshop dates have been scheduled for May 2026.

A new Follow-on One-Day Japanese Black Ink Painting Workshop for those who have previously taken our Introductory Workshop will be held at the beautiful Brú Ború Cultural Centre beside the historic Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary: In-Person Follow-on Workshop on Thursday the 28th of May (Book Here)

Sumi-e is the Japanese word for the Art of Black Ink Painting. It is a unique art form in which the fewest possible strokes are used to capture the essence of the subject being painted using only black ink, handmade paper and a special brush.

In this Follow-on Workshop, participants who have previously attended our Introductory Workshop will continue on to new subjects.
